Mahaveers Cancellation Policy:
Mahaveers dispatches products within 24 hours of placing the order (on normal business days.) Hence, cancellation of an order will only be entertained if the request is made within 12 hours of placing the order or before the product is dispatched, whichever is earlier. Once the order is dispatched, then cancellation is not possible and will not be considered.
If the order is cancelled later and we are forced to recall our despatch, a Transaction Processing Fees of 10% shall be deducted from the payment.
Mahaveers Refund Policy:
Mahaveers aims to simplify the procedures to ensure that you can buy from us in confidence/return the item if the item is not as described/not what you had ordered. In case you are dissatisfied with the product received from Mahaveers, please contact email@example.com We shall revert back to you at the earliest.
In case the product is received in damaged condition or the wrong item is received:
We treat saree selection as a pure artform. We have stringent quality checks in place, to ensure you receive the best.
However, there are circumstances beyond our control which might affect the product. There is always a remote possibility that the item could be damaged during transit/that a wrong item is delivered to you inadvertently. In case of transit damage, we request you to mail details of condition of the package with pictures, signs of tampering and other details that are visible to you, to firstname.lastname@example.org before accepting the package from the courier agency. We will shortly revert back to you.
In case of any discrepancy, you may refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable and sufficient remarks on the proof of delivery. Customers can also lodge a proper complaint with the local office of the courier agency, so that Mahaveers could take up the matter with them to prevent such occurrences in the future.
In such cases where your ordered item is damaged during transit or the wrong item is delivered to you, we will replace the item at no extra cost, provided that the request email or whatsapp with images of defect/exchange product for replacement/return of item is made by you within 2 days from the receipt of the package.
Before returning any product, always contact Team Mahaveers at (email ID and phone number) within 2 days of receipt of such product. Our team will get in touch with you at the earliest. The email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the single order/package delivery. Please note that our returns team will be examining the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of the customer’s emails.
After validating your return request over email, we will send you an email authorizing a return. The mail will have an attachment containing the return shipping address label. You may simply print, fill with accurate information, paste the shipping address label on the package and courier it back to us. Please bear in mind that we should receive the return package within 7 days (in case of Domestic Clients) or 15 days (in case of international clients) of our sending the authorising email.
In case any product is returned without such confirmation, Mahaveers does not guarantee any credit note or replacement of the product.
Kindly retain all original packaging materials, tags and the product until receipt of instructions from Mahaveers regarding the same.
Once inspected and approved as an eligible return, we will issue your refund or merchandise credit note in the appropriate amount. If however the return is not found eligible for refund, we will courier the same back to you. In either scenario, the issue of return will be closed within 10 days of our receiving of the return package from you.
Refunds in case of damaged/wrong products:
The payment is made using a credit/debit card (or any form of net banking)/bank deposit then the amount is credited back to the same account from which the payment was made.
Refunds in case of dissatisfaction with the product are made as follows:
When a refund is to be made due to dissatisfaction at the customer’s end, then only the product cost amount is refunded in the form of credit note.

Note: In this case, the reverse shipping cost has to be borne by the customer. In case any Customs Duty / Tax is levied, the same also has to be borne by the customer.
Notwithstanding the above, Mahaveers holds the sole right and discretion to decide the outcome, on a case by case basis. We are under no obligation to accept any returns or provide any replacements or exchange or give credit notes.
Returns / Refunds in Case of Customized Products:
The products which are Customized , Altered or Tailored are not eligible for Return / Refund / Cancellation.
Returns in case of products on sale:
Please note that products purchased during Festive / Promotional Sales are not eligible for Return / Refund/Exchange.
In case of multiple products being ordered, if for any reason whatsoever, Mahaveers is unable to deliver certain products, the customer shall be allowed to select an alternate product. However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, Mahaveers will refund the amount against non-deliverable products.
The details of the products or product specifications (weight, colour, handwork details, etc.) as shown on the website of Mahaveers are only approximate, and may differ from the actual product due to a variety of reasons beyond our control.
We firmly believe that all the customers who order online are aware that the colors seen on the monitor can be slightly different as compared to the color of the actual products due to variation of color settings and capabilities of computer monitors, or other computer related differences / limitations of the computer system.
Hand crafted products might have slight irregularities. These add to the unique charm of these products.
Pre-order Terms & Conditions:
- A Pre-ordered product cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled.
- An order for the product is taken only after the payment is received.
- In the case of delay or unavailability of the ordered product, it will be informed to the client in the time period and we will refund only the amount paid by the client at the time of order placement.
